| Doug Gazlay has an affordable,
in-house production studio for producing demos of writer's songs.
D-Grooves Recording Studio is a midi-based studio with over
11,000 soft synth oriented sounds to use in shaping songs from
conception to reality. SONAR 5: Producer Edition is the main editing
software, with Sony Sound Forge 8 and CD Architect 5.2 used to
perfect the mastering process. He also uses Finalé
to score sheet music and/or lead sheets for the songs. There is a quiet booth for vocals and a nice waiting area for friends to gather as the recording is taking place and hear the progress. A Bluebird "Blue" mic is used to capture fantastic vocals. |
| Doug's arranging abilities shine in his studio, since he is well versed in many musical styles including ballads, light jazz, contemporary Christian, r&b, Broadway, funk, dance, country, rock and light hip-hop. Whenever appropriate, guitarists and vocalists are brought in to round out the "D-Grooves" sound. |
